Salle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Gilles Morisson scored to the left of an out of position Franz Mérieau, making the score, 2-0. Franz Mérieau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Gentric, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Pascal Gentric's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Franz Mérieau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 23 minutes into the match, Jocelyn Gilet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franz Mérieau, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascal Gentric to strike the kick off in the second half. Inter Stella 5555's Gilles Morisson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Inter Stella 5555 booed when Salle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheikh Bocage didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Salle got a freekick which was hit by Cheikh Bocage. Inter Stella 5555's Jean-Yves Gouhier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Travert in the 58th minute of play. Inter Stella 5555's Pascal Gentric got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Mérieau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Gentric, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Pascal Gentric who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salle's Franz Mérieau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inter Stella 5555's Miloš Glonek got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Inter Stella 5555's Gilles Morisson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The Inter Stella 5555 fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Inter Stella 5555's Pascal Gentric looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Salle's zone, Farid Vergnolle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franz Mérieau came out of the goal and Farid Vergnolle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franz Mérieau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilles Morisson went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After 91 minutes, Pascal Gentric made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Salle's Franz Mérieau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Inter Stella 5555 were the better team. Inter Stella 5555's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
