Berdaitz Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iraitz Canal in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Iraitz Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Málaga F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Iraitz Canal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berdaitz Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Castulo Villanueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliu Candamil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Castulo Villanueva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berdaitz Medina, 1-0. Hipolito Tormes hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Málaga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Galo Cuadrado came free, but Illan Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliu Candamil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Adán Cardeñosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Iraitz Canal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berdaitz Medina, 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Málaga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Galo Cuadrado came free, but Illan Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quico Zubiaga was the one to do the kick off. Galo Cuadrado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Illan Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Quico Zubiaga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Illan Rosario. The goal made the score 3-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Quico Zubiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quico Zubiaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berdaitz Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraitz Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo Cuadrado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Berdaitz Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraitz Canal, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Quico Zubiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illan Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 81 in the game by Galo Cuadrado from a close distance when the talented Illan Rosario managed to make a qualified save. Málaga F.C.'s players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Dimo's zone, Castulo Villanueva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berdaitz Medina came out of the goal and Castulo Villanueva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Iraitz Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Málaga F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraitz Canal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Illan Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quico Zubiaga in the 92nd minute of play. Castulo Villanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
