Solsona booed when Profesores de Canarias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymundo Goyanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Profesores de Canarias's Viviano Sánchez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Viviano Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natxo Mezquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 73 minutes of play, F.C. Solsona's Gabriele Batistuta made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viviano Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there!
