Juventud De Estepona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chus Clemente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes, Juventud De Estepona's Artzai Casanova shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carles Elguero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventud De Estepona reached it. The Villawalter City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juventud De Estepona were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chus Clemente to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Chayo Novo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Chus Clemente notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Villawalter City's Carles Elguero. The long shot by Artzai Casanova in the 64th minute really tested Carles Elguero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Villawalter City's Carles Elguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quico Pacheco in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Chus Clemente could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Carles Elguero however easily saved by the left post. Chus Clemente struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Carles Elguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventud De Estepona. 70 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Quico Pacheco came free, but Carles Elguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chus Clemente got free with Carles Elguero in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goalkeeper Carles Elguero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chus Clemente. In the 82nd match minute, Juventud De Estepona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txema Ziguenza to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Osoro Sobrado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonsalve Mayor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chus Clemente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Carles Elguero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Quico Pacheco came free, but Carles Elguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Cano's late challenge caught a Juventud De Estepona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Cano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juventud De Estepona booed when Villawalter City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Cano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Villawalter City defense, Chus Clemente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carles Elguero. The Villawalter City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carles Elguero should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Villawalter City lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
