Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Montgat's Edelmiro Canturri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Montgat getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Emilio Rapado hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Pascual Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Carlos de Bolivar's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Alabern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dei Carreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Amaro Zafrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berenguer De Paula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Montgat's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Alabern came free, but Dei Carreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dei Carreira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pablo Turienzo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Pablo Turienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dei Carreira made a huge save. Romulo Reyes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berenguer De Paula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Pablo Turienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dei Carreira having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Turienzo to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Alabern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dei Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Carlos de Bolivar's Berenguer De Paula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save San Carlos de Bolivar from getting a goal against them. Juan Ecija received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Berenguer De Paula came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Ecija slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Montgat's Juan Ecija got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Turienzo in the 65th minute of play forced Montgat's goalkeeper Dei Carreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Benigno Bartumeu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dei Carreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Pablo Turienzo got free in front of the goal in the 70th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dei Carreira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Amaro Zafrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xalo Rossello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amaro Zafrilla during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. San Carlos de Bolivar's Xalo Rossello got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montgat succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though San Carlos de Bolivar had controlled the match.
