Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aimar Morales to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Gimeno in the 55th minute of play forced Talltendre CD's goalkeeper Garikoitz Arenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Ereinotz Ibanez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talltendre CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oñon the free kick. Garikoitz Arenas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Gimeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Oñon's Luis-Antonio Ramis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Verdeja in the 64th minute of play. Ilixo Vadillos's late challenge caught a Oñon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilixo Vadillos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Talltendre CD getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ilixo Vadillos hit a great ball. If Fidel Landa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aimar Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luis-Antonio Ramis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristos Abads short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Garikoitz Arenas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oñon's Luis-Antonio Ramis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Verdeja in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Aimar Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Ramis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oñon's Luis-Antonio Ramis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Verdeja in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Oñon defense, Ilixo Verdeja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis-Antonio Ramis. The Oñon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis-Antonio Ramis should have stopped the shot. Fidel Landa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Arenas having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
