Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Josu Cabada kicked off to start the match. Geronimo Serena was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, one of C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA. The goalkeeper, Michael Benítez, was totally fooled by Valencia FC's Walme Alcalde, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eusebio Menendez's late challenge caught a C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Menendez helped the player get up and apologised. When Isaias Hevia fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's protests and gave Isaias Hevia a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Hevia. With a little luck, C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's Michael Benítez got control of the ball when Josu Cabada tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Geronimo Serena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Josu Cabada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gregorio Bouzon came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's Geronimo Serena. But to his dismay, Geronimo Serena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Geronimo Serena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matijs Van De Gehuchte made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isaias Hevia however managed to control. 37 minutes into the match, Valencia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Serena came free, but Gregorio Bouzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Valencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Menendez to maneuver through the defense. Michael Benítez made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Josu Cabada sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Valencia FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Verdu. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geronimo Serena made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Geronimo Serena managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Serena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Bouzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Verdu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Geronimo Serena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregorio Bouzon came out and tried to block the shot, but Geronimo Serena slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 75th minute. Michael Benítez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josu Cabada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Geronimo Serena managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Serena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Bouzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Llorente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
