Luis Macia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Griful, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Rayo Virtudes's goalkeeper Sotil Rienda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arxel Jorquera. After some careless play in the RCD Lidbar defense, Xicu Contreras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Macia. The RCD Lidbar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Macia should have stopped the shot. Luis Macia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Griful, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Xicu Contreras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Macia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Rayo Virtudes's Agustín Barrios got a free kick in the 26th minute. A long shot from Facundo Gimenez in the 27th minute of play was well struck, but Sotil Rienda made a really good save at the right post. Luis Macia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xicu Contreras in the 31st minute of the match. Luis Macia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xicu Contreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Griful in the 34th minute of play forced RCD Lidbar's goalkeeper Luis Macia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Macia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xicu Contreras in the 69th minute of play. RCD Lidbar's Luis Macia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save RCD Lidbar from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bastia Martin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Macia saved RCD Lidbar from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Rayo Virtudes got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Ortega. Xicu Contreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Griful got free with Luis Macia in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Facundo Gimenez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. RCD Lidbar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayo Virtudes the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of RCD Lidbar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rayo Virtudes:s goal. Xicu Contreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luis Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RCD Lidbar's Luis Macia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Griful in the 92nd minute of play. In the 99th minute, John Griful left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayo Virtudes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Rayo Virtudes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RCD Lidbar.
