Sotil Rienda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Roach in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Peter Novotný who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayo Virtudes's Sotil Rienda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iwan Dres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xicu Contreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Rayo Virtudes's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Novotný came free, but Sotil Rienda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santi Hevia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Dres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Dark Knights FC's Martín Barral managed to work through Rayo Virtudes's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Martín Barral dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Pascual Alcantara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rayo Virtudes's Pascual Alcantara got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Randy Roach got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 46 played minutes Rayo Virtudes got a freekick which was hit by Bastia Martin.

Peter Novotný scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sotil Rienda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sotil Rienda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randy Roach in the 67th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Rayo Virtudes got a freekick which was hit by Bastia Martin. 76 minutes in the game Leo Etxahun did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sarracino Camacho. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, John Griful took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Iwan Dres to make any attempt to save it. Rayo Virtudes's Sotil Rienda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Barral in the 80th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Rayo Virtudes got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Barrios. Sotil Rienda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Novotný, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Dark Knights FC were the better team. Dark Knights FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
