After a rather tough play, EL COMANDANTE's Sofronio Rojas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Jacek Zakrzewski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo didn't even have to move. Ilixo Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Nuno in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, El Pasteral F.C's goalkeeper Xurdin Ibanez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rai Vadillos. Benvide Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilixo Urquijo having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benvide Ponte made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Celestino Nuno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilixo Urquijo, 0-2. El Pasteral F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacek Zakrzewski in the 58th minute. Ilixo Urquijo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Celestino Nuno sent off a good shot on target. EL COMANDANTE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Celestino Nuno 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Ilixo Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. EL COMANDANTE's Ilixo Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benvide Ponte in the 79th minute of play. Benvide Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilixo Urquijo having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Celestino Nuno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilixo Urquijo. EL COMANDANTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Nuno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Zubiaga got free with Ilixo Urquijo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. EL COMANDANTE were furious when Sofronio Rojas was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 96 played minutes EL COMANDANTE got a freekick which was hit by Sofronio Rojas. El Pasteral F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
