Telesforo Griego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Nueva in the 22nd minute of play. If Ulises Nueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Nueva in the 23rd minute of play forced Akatsuki ADC's goalkeeper Telesforo Griego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Örjan Igelström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ulises Nueva came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Nueva couldn't finish the play. Telesforo Griego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Nueva, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Marrero in the 38th minute of play. Telesforo Griego came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by UNITED's Ulises Nueva. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Telesforo Griego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UNITED's Lucas Jimenez got a free kick in the 73rd minute. UNITED's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
