In the 3rd minute, Xines Cayuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roberto Huarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. Uxio Pedraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xines Cayuela in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Sevilla booed when Palma City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belarmo Elguero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Macho in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uxio Pedraza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Roberto Huarte, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Uxio Pedraza was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cloyo Dulce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Maldonado in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Roberto Huarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uxio Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Xines Cayuela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uxio Pedraza. Palma City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xines Cayuela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ansuro Garay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palma City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ansuro Garay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cloyo Dulce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palma City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eusebio Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
