In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Odiel's goalkeeper Ximen Nadal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, one of Rio Odiel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Ciruel Team's Aipytos Vardoulakis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ximen Nadal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Vilanova in the 23rd minute of play forced Rio Odiel's goalkeeper Ximen Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riccardo Hofer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tato Ponce in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Luar Carballeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Rio Odiel got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Doblas. Indar Albizua scored 4-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ximen Nadal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Indar Albizua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Rio Odiel's goal looked a bit too open when Indar Albizua came free, but Ximen Nadal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Odiel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Indar Albizua scored to the left of an out of position Ximen Nadal, making the score, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Rio Odiel made a substitution. Jesús Pedriza replaced Arnalt Leyva. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marino Bregenzer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jesús Pedriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54thth minute of the game Indar Albizua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Odiel's Ximen Nadal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Luar Carballeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Doblas got free with Riccardo Hofer in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59thth minute of the game Indar Albizua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Odiel's Ximen Nadal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciruel Team made a substitution. Julio Roca replaced Ireno Benedicto. Ciruel Team's Mitrofan Mitrović was substituted for Marino Bregenzer. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Jesús Pedriza with Simon Sancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ximen Nadal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indar Albizua, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Odiel's goalkeeper Ximen Nadal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Indar Albizua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ximen Nadal was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ciruel Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rio Odiel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
