In the 6th minute, Germán Salazar made a precise shot to the right of Unai Perez. Garciaz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Germán Salazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Unai Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 16 minutes, Germán Salazar made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Garciaz's Unai Perez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Germán Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unai Perez made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Germán Salazar sent off a good shot on target. Urbasa Escobar made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Flavio Bouzon immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Nervión FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hermelando Jaen hit a great ball. Unai Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Germán Salazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Nervión FC got a penalty, and Germán Salazar placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germán Salazar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 70th minute of the game, Germán Salazar landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Godfredo Palomares fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garciaz's protests and gave Godfredo Palomares a yellow card for diving instead. Godfredo Palomares hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Jaume Revuelta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Unai Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 76th minute, Gabino Novo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nervión FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermelando Jaen during the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Garciaz's zone, Rey Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Unai Perez came out of the goal and Rey Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Garciaz getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Inautzi Camara hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nervión FC fully deserved thier win.
