Andrea Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Nowacki in the 40th minute of play. Valeri Karpin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Andrea Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Bandoleros Team 2.0 fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Bandoleros Team 2.0's Valeri Karpin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 58 minutes, Everett Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melandru de Cenero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everett Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bandoleros Team 2.0's Urbes Peña got a free kick in the 61st minute. Melandru de Cenero made a substitution. Laurgain Jurado replaced Paulino Romero. After a defensive mix-up in Bandoleros Team 2.0's zone, Everett Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Lop came out of the goal and Everett Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melandru de Cenero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
