Spectators: 8477 (Terracing: 6359, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Efthimis Tsakrilis got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Xalvador Pendones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Laffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nueva Chicago's Koldo Fabelo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulo Laffon but with some difficulty. Paulo Laffon came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Chicago's Marcial Ziguenza. But to his dismay, Marcial Ziguenza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Francesc Vilaplana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xalvador Pendones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Koldo Fabelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koldo Fabelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efthimis Tsakrilis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Cañizares saved Nueva Chicago from getting behind. Santiago Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efthimis Tsakrilis in the 20th minute of play. Dega Bahi F.C were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Nueva Chicago's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Etxeberri Gandia took the corner. The corner ended in Etxeberri Gandia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efthimis Tsakrilis in the 23rd minute of play forced Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Dega Bahi F.C's Efthimis Tsakrilis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Cañizares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game Efthimis Tsakrilis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Dega Bahi F.C's Paulo Laffon got control of the ball when Xalvador Pendones tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Efthimis Tsakrilis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celedonio Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nueva Chicago booed when Dega Bahi F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dega Bahi F.C made a substitution. Matthew Duran replaced Jose-Manuel Acha. After 49 played minutes Dega Bahi F.C got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Toro. It was beautiful to see Nueva Chicago's Arlo Abril in action when he in the 50th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

Paulo Laffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Ziguenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Wilfredo Jubera hit a great ball. Etxeberri Gandia's late challenge caught a Nueva Chicago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etxeberri Gandia helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Dega Bahi F.C got a freekick which was hit by Etxeberri Gandia. After 62 played minutes, Nueva Chicago's Wilfredo Jubera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Laffon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nueva Chicago reached it. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wilfredo Jubera hit a great ball. When Koldo Fabelo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Chicago's protests and gave Koldo Fabelo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Koldo Fabelo hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Dega Bahi F.C's Efthimis Tsakrilis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Cañizares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 minutes of play Dega Bahi F.C's Celedonio Toro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dega Bahi F.C! In the 77th minute of the match Dega Bahi F.C got a corner. Nueva Chicago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Etxeberri Gandia ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Lionel Mess managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 77th match minute, Dega Bahi F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Mess to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constancio Navarro during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nueva Chicago's Constancio Navarro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Dega Bahi F.C's Eloy Prieto was substituted for Efthimis Tsakrilis. Constancio Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Wilfredo Jubera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dega Bahi F.C's Paulo Laffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalvador Pendones in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xalvador Pendones in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Laffon saved Dega Bahi F.C from getting behind. A collision led to Dega Bahi F.C getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Lionel Mess hit a great ball. 99 minutes into the match, Dega Bahi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Xalvador Pendones came free, but Paulo Laffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Nueva Chicago players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
