The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Fortunato Sans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marko Arnautović in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Bartumeu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Santa Fé De Los Boliches's Pepe Llorente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Bartumeu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliz Abascal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszko Moczkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Zorongo FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Santa Fé De Los Boliches's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arvid Forssell took the corner. After a rather tough play, Santa Fé De Los Boliches's Edgar Szarmach got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pepe Llorente made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Moczkiewicz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliz Abascal saved Santa Fé De Los Boliches from getting behind. Feliz Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Moczkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Zorongo FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arvid Forssell hit a great ball. Zorongo FC's Hernando Casado was substituted for Arvid Forssell. In the 58th minute, Arvid Forssell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorongo FC's Zbyszek Gaszynski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgar Szarmach in the 61 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Moczkiewicz in the 62nd minute of play forced Santa Fé De Los Boliches's goalkeeper Feliz Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Moczkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliz Abascal having to make a save. The supporters of Zorongo FC booed when Santa Fé De Los Boliches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabi Pedrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zorongo FC had won after a very even match.
