Baldemar Folch was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 7 minutes into the match, Sitges's goal looked a bit too open when Zeruko Vera came free, but Rubén Urruti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altza Herria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pipo Pi in the 8th minute. Altza Herria's Pipo Pi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubén Urruti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rubén Urruti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Barral in the 10th minute of the match. Julio-César van Beek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Salazar's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. A collision led to Altza Herria getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Iurie Macovei hit a great ball. Rubén Urruti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeruko Vera in the 20th minute of the match. Julio-César van Beek made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Charidimos Papandreou sent off a good shot on target. Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Altza Herria from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Resto made a precise shot to the right of Julio-César van Beek. Altza Herria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zeruko Vera charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeruko Vera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Altza Herria getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zeruko Vera hit a great ball. Julio-César van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Salazar in the 37th minute of play. Rubén Urruti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykut Bartu in the 39th minute of play. Julio-César van Beek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubén Urruti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvito Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Aykut Bartu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altza Herria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aykut Bartu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fernando Resto made the kick off in the second half. Rubén Urruti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Rubén Urruti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut Bartu in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sitges's Kevin Johnson got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Pipo Pi came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Altza Herria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipo Pi couldn't finish the play. If Zeruko Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Sitges's Charidimos Papandreou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio-César van Beek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Salazar in the 71st minute of play forced Altza Herria's goalkeeper Julio-César van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sitges's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pipo Pi was slow to take the kick. During this time Altza Herria's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Pipo Pi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rubén Urruti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sitges's Rubén Urruti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Sitges from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Resto in the 81st minute of play forced Altza Herria's goalkeeper Julio-César van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Rubén Urruti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Altza Herria's Zeruko Vera, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Altza Herria. If Medero Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Medero Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Urruti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sitges were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Altza Herria for a fine match.
