The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Uxamancia FC's Rick Sánchez got control of the ball when Bart Brandie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rick Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jardeløv in the 5th minute of the match. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Rios Marin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rick Sánchez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rick Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jardeløv in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Mario Jardeløv managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Jardeløv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rick Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Mario Jardeløv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atauri Salan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taio Zaplana in the 31st minute of the match. Rick Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jardeløv in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goal looked a bit too open when Doroteo Viqueira came free, but Atauri Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doroteo Viqueira in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atauri Salan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 36 minutes, Mario Jardeløv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Jardeløv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Mario Jardeløv could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Rick Sánchez however easily saved by the left post. Andrzej Borowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rick Sánchez having to make a save. Atauri Salan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doroteo Viqueira went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With 44 minutes on the clock, Roberto-Carlos Rocha commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Atauri Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Secară, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan got control of the ball when Goyo Bouzas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bardo Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uxamancia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lawrence Perpiñán in the 61st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Calistrat Secară heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Doroteo Viqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atauri Salan having to interfere. A.D. Puente Cantalojas made a substitution. Carlos Camarasa replaced Mario Jardeløv. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Alexander Casas was substituted for Erland Odman. The throw-in from Lawrence Perpiñán in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Andrzej Borowski. Rick Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bardo Cameno in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Derman Uysal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atauri Salan was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goal looked a bit too open when Doroteo Viqueira came free, but Atauri Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atauri Salan made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Doroteo Viqueira sent off a good shot on target. If Bardo Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goalkeeper Atauri Salan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derman Uysal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uxamancia FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
