Currito Torrente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolfos Cartagena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Manta struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Currito Torrente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orihuela Club de Fútbol. Ermegildo Pasqual stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iñigo Pedrosa's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Leopoldo Manta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Currito Torrente made a huge save. Sergio Odín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Pasqual having to interfere. Clemencin Duran made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Galsino Barba immediately put the ball in play. In the 33rd minute Paco Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
