Poncio Abellan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 6th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Mastur Bassi came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curcio Carballeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Poncio Abellan could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Xulian Calvo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Xuaco Acedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Castellano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mastur Bassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mastur Bassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Castellano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jairo Castellano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mastur Bassi's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Curcio Carballeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Poncio Abellan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Senatus Populus Que Roman's Poncio Abellan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 63rd minute of play. Xiao Yang Xuan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Club Getafe Deportivo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Senatus Populus Que Roman:s goal. Jairo Castellano had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Mastur Bassi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Curcio Carballeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Poncio Abellan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 71st minute of play forced Senatus Populus Que Roman's goalkeeper Poncio Abellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Cheche Rubiero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Getafe Deportivo's Miroslaw Resel was substituted for Xulian Calvo. After 80 played minutes Club Getafe Deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Laurgain Lama. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Karadeniz Hidayet replaced Mike Seguna. Laurgain Lama hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Getafe Deportivo's zone, Cheche Rubiero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Castellano came out of the goal and Cheche Rubiero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Getafe Deportivo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Senatus Populus Que Roman had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
