Spectators: 9304 (Terracing: 6980, Seating: 2139, VIP seats: 185) Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo Castellano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Julin's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Jairo Castellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Valines in the 7th minute of play. Xaime Palencia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabat Dobale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xaime Palencia came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira. But to his dismay, Curcio Carballeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Julin in the 27th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Jakes Ortiz came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Curcio Carballeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VAR is coming's Xaime Palencia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes of play, VAR is coming's Jakes Ortiz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Castellano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlo Sarrate hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakes Ortiz to make the kick off. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Miroslaw Resel replaced Xulian Calvo. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Julin in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute Kurt Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Jakes Ortiz came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Cipriano Galnares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Castellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Litago, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Jakes Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Castellano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by VAR is coming's Rubén Litago. But to his dismay, Rubén Litago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Mike Seguna fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Getafe Deportivo's protests and gave Mike Seguna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Mike Seguna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96th play minutes Rubén Litago shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Jairo Castellano and just under the crossbar into goal. VAR is coming's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
