The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belarmino Villalcazar in the 4th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Ermegildo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Manta got free with Rüştü Recber in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Severino Gandia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Severino Gandia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Ermegildo Pasqual was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Belarmino Villalcazar who took care of the corner kick. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Ermegildo Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prometeo Cabada in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Leopoldo Manta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rüştü Recber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermegildo Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Palomar in the 27th minute of play. The corner led Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Cordarell Guasch to fire away a dangerous shot which Rüştü Recber despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Cordarell Guasch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Manta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Orihuela Club de Fútbol's corner David Armada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rüştü Recber quite easily take care of the ball. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Fernando Manzano was substituted for Leopoldo Manta. Orihuela Club de Fútbol made a substitution. Dolfos Cartagena replaced Herberto Leyva. Rüştü Recber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Manzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Severino Gandia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, SuperFuerza TM's Maarten Stubbe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermegildo Pasqual. Ermegildo Pasqual yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Ermegildo Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prometeo Cabada in the 92nd minute of play. SuperFuerza TM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
