Arif Memduh Akova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pitin Vallejo in the 25th minute of the match. Enrique Saura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Memduh Akova having to make a save. A collision led to Hispania getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edorta Portillo hit a great ball. Enrique Saura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Saura made a kick off. Arif Memduh Akova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitin Vallejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 54 minutes Hispania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaizka Mendieta who took care of the corner kick. Tirant lo Blanch's Gaizka Mendieta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arif Memduh Akova in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 57 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Svensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Kubala. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osman Čiček in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Oskar Svensson saved Tirant lo Blanch from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Hispania's goal looked a bit too open when Pitin Vallejo came free, but Arif Memduh Akova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Gaizka Mendieta got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tirant lo Blanch's Bernardo España was substituted for Ricardo Arias. In the 74th minute, Filip Kubala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Oskar Svensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
