With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Hollis in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hemming Mervild saved FC WBKelso from getting behind. Bobbi Høners charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bobbi Høners the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bobbi Høners kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ricky Foxstrøm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gynter Dircks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klas Rausgaard during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Morup in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hemming Mervild prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hemming Mervild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Tryde, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Eske Dagnø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Gynter Dircks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC WBKelso's zone, Thomas Hollis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemming Mervild came out of the goal and Thomas Hollis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Morup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hemming Mervild tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gynter Dircks made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Nøies in the 51st minute of play forced Hvidbierg's goalkeeper Ricky Foxstrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for FC WBKelso. Niko Kjederup stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricky Foxstrøm. 1-0. 69 minutes into the match, FC WBKelso's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Morup came free, but Hemming Mervild reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hemming Mervild made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Hollis in the 73rd minute. Marco Morup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemming Mervild having to interfere. The supporters of Hvidbierg booed when FC WBKelso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Kjederup didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Gynter Dircks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Foxstrøm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC WBKelso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
