Brøndbyernes IF's Helmuth Passum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Lomark in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Brøndbyernes IF's Dennis Stadshil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Rovang. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play.
