Chico Porto started the match with the kick off. Bjarne Bartholomæussen might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Andrup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bjarne Bartholomæussen ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Hovedstadens BK booed when Kongstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimi Guldby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakub Fedosz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jacob Andrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Banke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjarne Bartholomæussen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Jacob Andrup skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Porto in the 27th minute of play forced Kongstrup's goalkeeper Jacob Andrup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Jacob Andrup when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30thth minute of the game Chico Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kongstrup's Jacob Andrup was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacob Andrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Kongstrup's Stefan Prodan got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes, Hovedstadens BK's Chris Bisbo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacob Andrup came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hovedstadens BK reached it. If Bjarne Bartholomæussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bjarne Bartholomæussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Andrup having to interfere. The supporters of Kongstrup booed when Hovedstadens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Bisbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Chico Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Andrup was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kongstrup's Jacob Andrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarne Bartholomæussen in the 59th minute of play. Jacob Andrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jacob Andrup came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hovedstadens BK's Chico Porto. But to his dismay, Chico Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chico Porto in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Andrup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Chico Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kåre Atbro during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Hovedstadens BK got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Atbro. Jacob Andrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Andrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bjarne Bartholomæussen scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Andrup, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 6-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when Chico Porto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hovedstadens BK fully deserved thier win.
