In the 10th match minute, LUNDEBORG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lynge Hartzner to maneuver through the defense. When Bjørn Engemose came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Kørup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjørn Engemose couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes LUNDEBORG FC got a freekick which was hit by Lavritz Raunsholm. 13 minutes into the match, Piotr Schwarck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Vestbøge. LUNDEBORG FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piotr Schwarck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Schwarck in the 19th minute of play forced LUNDEBORG FC's goalkeeper Alfred Vestbøge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Perving's late challenge caught a LUNDEBORG FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Perving helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Perving hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eigil Wichmand, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 38th minute Bjørn Engemose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Vestbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Vestbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Schwarck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjørn Engemose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in LUNDEBORG FC's zone, Piotr Schwarck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Vestbøge came out of the goal and Piotr Schwarck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjørn Engemose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Laus Rehnsby made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes LUNDEBORG FC got a freekick which was hit by Thorfinn Orte. Bjørn Engemose struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Alfred Vestbøge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kørup. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bjørn Engemose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kørup's supporters rose to their feet, but Bjørn Engemose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
