The supporters of Hedsbjærg SIK booed when Maarup IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Alhede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkon Dybig struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Karlo Schleicher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hedsbjærg SIK. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Andre Bøgeby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes of play, Hedsbjærg SIK's Håkon Dybig made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karlo Schleicher was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Andre Bøgeby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Hedsbjærg SIK's Håkon Dybig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karlo Schleicher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
