But to his dismay, Asker Parming quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Mariager IF's goalkeeper Franz Ellemand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt Rossil. A collision led to Mariager IF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Andre Sauvr hit a great ball. After 25 minutes Torp SIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Holsmose who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Diego Holsmose got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Jalbek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Kastrupsen during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Torp SIK's Jim Kastrupsen got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Eskil Bastheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Rossil during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bengt Rossil hit a great ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torp SIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diego Holsmose was slow to take the kick. During this time Mariager IF's players had a chance to rest. Mariager IF's Andre Sauvr got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eskil Bastheim struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcos Jalbek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariager IF. Marcos Jalbek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esben Nilander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Andre Sauvr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariager IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Sauvr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Esben Nilander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Esben Nilander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Jalbek was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A collision led to Torp SIK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jim Kastrupsen hit a great ball. Marcos Jalbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esben Nilander in the 67th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Eskil Bastheim rounded Torp SIK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Asker Parming took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Jalbek. Marcos Jalbek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 90th play minute Asker Parming came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Jalbek. 0-5. Marcos Jalbek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esben Nilander in the 94th minute. Augustin Saxil's late challenge caught a Torp SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Saxil helped the player get up and apologised. Mariager IF played a much better game than Torp SIK and deserved their victory. The Torp SIK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
