The attack was good, but when Volmar Gow in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rune Rahlf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Nyenstad in the 16th minute of play. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Volmar Gow sped through hvidovre 88's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Rahlf. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kai Nyenstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munkes's supporters rose to their feet, but Kai Nyenstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Rahlf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 played minutes, Munkes's Stuart Basselbjerg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rune Rahlf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Munkes reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volmar Gow in the 26th managed to get into a good position. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Munkes reached it. 42 minutes into the match, Chrestian Reiff notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of hvidovre 88's Rune Rahlf. Rune Rahlf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
