Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hønning's John-Arne Riise started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, John-Arne Riise made a precise shot to the right of Bastian Hageland. Østrup FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bastian Hageland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Svanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Bastian Hageland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Arne Riise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hønning's attentive Carlos Eduardo Varela managed to snatch the ball when Gustav Herning made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Bastian Hageland came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Hønning's John-Arne Riise. But to his dismay, John-Arne Riise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gustav Hernings short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Dirch Glerum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dirch Glerum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Herning in the 14th minute. If John-Arne Riise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John-Arne Riise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bastian Hageland having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Thagholm to maneuver through the defense. Walther Nieholt charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walther Nieholt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Østrup FC's Walther Nieholt got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, one of Østrup FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Hønning a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laurids Hvenekilde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Østrup FC's Bastian Hageland. 0-3. When Carlos Eduardo Varela came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Varela couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, John-Arne Riise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hønning's supporters rose to their feet, but John-Arne Riise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastian Hageland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bastian Hageland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John-Arne Riise went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Bastian Hageland didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hønning's John-Arne Riise shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. John-Arne Riise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hønning booed when Østrup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Øe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, John-Arne Riise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hønning fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klemens Hender to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hønning's John-Arne Riise slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bastian Hageland. That made the score 0-7 after 51 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John-Arne Riise in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastian Hageland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hønning's Fillip Knutstad was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bastian Hageland in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 61 minutes into the game, John-Arne Riise recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bastian Hageland. John-Arne Riise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Østrup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walther Nieholt to maneuver through the defense. John-Arne Riise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John-Arne Riise in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastian Hageland saved Østrup FC from getting behind. Walther Nieholt hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Silas Thagholm hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute John-Arne Riise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Hageland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Hageland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Arne Riise in the 95th minute of the match.
