Bruno Steenbeck scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Bruno Steenbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Jestrimski came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Grønnow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Bruno Steenbeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Martins. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Steenbeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 28 minutes Hoberg United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maciej Konieczny who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Radim Gola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Martins quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nichlas Vesterdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Grønnow in the 30th minute of play. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Harkin in the 32nd minute of the match. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Grønnow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Bruno Steenbeck took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Dida Martins to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bruno Steenbeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Randers A.F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Steenbeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Grønnow, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Gordon Harkin made the kick off in the second half. When Jimmi Imtiaz fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoberg United's protests and gave Jimmi Imtiaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmi Imtiaz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hoberg United booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Steenbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Randy Bastard. In the 58th minute, Jimmi Imtiaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cintya Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nik Frisendal to maneuver through the defense. Randers A.F.C.'s Øjvind Gulnæs was substituted for Zbyszko Drozdowski. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Terri Bulk replaced Bruno Steenbeck. After 66 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nik Frisendal. After a defensive mix-up in Randers A.F.C.'s zone, Danny Grønnow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichlas Vesterdahl came out of the goal and Danny Grønnow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witomir Jestrimski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Nichlas Vesterdahl made a huge save. Witomir Jestrimski came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nichlas Vesterdahl could save by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gordon Harkin. If Arthur Shelby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Grønnow in the 90th minute of play. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terri Bulk in the 95th minute of the match. Randers A.F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hoberg United for a fine match.
