The referee showed Hendrik Dunst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mönstadt getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hendrik Dunst hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Hubertus Hellmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Paschmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Helmuth Jokerst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hubertus Hellmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pröda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubertus Hellmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efraim Paschmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efraim Paschmanns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Hielscher in the 27th minute of the match. Ben Hielscher got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Efraim Paschmanns handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubertus Hellmann in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efraim Paschmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Efraim Paschmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Hielscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Hubertus Hellmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Paschmanns having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helmuth Jokerst made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Bo Frankfurter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Hofmeister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Hielscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Paschmanns having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Mönstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enak Hentschel to maneuver through the defense. Hubertus Hellmann in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Efraim Paschmanns, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ben Hielscher came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pröda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Hielscher couldn't finish the play. Jan Haak hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Enak Hentschel kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Herbert Rebmann, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 68th match minute, Mönstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Dormuth to maneuver through the defense. Efraim Paschmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben Hielscher's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Bo Frankfurter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Pröda FC's Ben Hielscher ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efraim Paschmanns. Efraim Paschmanns yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After some careless play in the Pröda FC defense, Helmuth Jokerst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Hofmeister. The Pröda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Hofmeister should have stopped the shot. Pröda FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
