A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Peter Gerlinger's late challenge caught a workfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Gerlinger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Barigau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Gerlinger to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, Barigau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Paulus to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedhold von Bülow in the 22nd minute of the match. Ödön Liski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Hämmerling, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Peter Gerlinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ödön Liski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Paulus in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ödön Liski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute Reinhold Büttgenbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Bernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horst Boddenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. workfield's Ödön Liski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Gerlinger in the 37th minute of play. Barigau's Tibor Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Stiller in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Barigau's Ödön Liski threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Gerlinger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 42 minutes, Baldo Steenkiste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the workfield and the Barigau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of workfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barigau:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Gerlinger was the one to do the kick off. Rainer Stübgen kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Alexander Schubeus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horst Boddenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordan Paulus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ödön Liski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Horst Boddenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barigau's zone, Horst Boddenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Bernard came out of the goal and Horst Boddenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ödön Liski came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Barigau's Jochen Hämmerling. But to his dismay, Jochen Hämmerling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Friedhold von Bülow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reinhold Büttgenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tibor Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Friedhold von Bülow reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tibor Bernard. The goal made the score 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Barigau's zone, Alexander Schubeus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Bernard came out of the goal and Alexander Schubeus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Barigau could leave the field as winners, despite workfield having more of the ball for most of the match.
