Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dorla FC's Lex Groth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dorla FC's Pjotr Frieling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horst Boddenberg in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Hans Borek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ödön Liski. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Dorla FC's zone, Corvinus Pfaff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pjotr Frieling came out of the goal and Corvinus Pfaff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Uhlenbrock kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dorla FC's zone, Friedhold von Bülow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pjotr Frieling came out of the goal and Friedhold von Bülow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horst Boddenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Friedhold von Bülow struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Pjotr Frieling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for workfield. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Alexander Schubeus put in a rough tackle. After 27 played minutes workfield got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Schubeus. Ödön Liski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lex Groth in the 28th minute of the match. Jürgen Wank in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ödön Liski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reinhold Büttgenbach hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gustav Matzke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ödön Liski made a huge save. If Friedhold von Bülow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horst Boddenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jürgen Wank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
