Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felix Schmal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Laurence Nelius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Niko Echterhoff made a huge save. If Laurence Nelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niko Echterhoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Nelius in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Heiner Boddenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lichtenborn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heiner Boddenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Krister Nunold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Görschnitz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lichtenborn the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Görschnitz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Nunold to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lichtenborn booed when Görschnitz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Kaltenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurence Nelius shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Laurence Nelius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Niko Echterhoff made a huge save. Niko Echterhoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Nelius in the 35th minute. Gunter Dohr's late challenge caught a Lichtenborn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunter Dohr helped the player get up and apologised. Gunter Dohr hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Laurence Nelius came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niko Echterhoff could save by the left post. When Krister Nunold was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. In the 40th match minute, Görschnitz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Nunold to maneuver through the defense. Niko Echterhoff came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Lichtenborn's Laurence Nelius. But to his dismay, Laurence Nelius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heiner Boddenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tino Schäffner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 56th minute of the match Gunter Dohr completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gunter Dohr a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gunter Dohr hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Niko Echterhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Nelius in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Heiner Boddenberg made a precise shot to the right of Niko Echterhoff. Görschnitz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 72 minutes of play, Lichtenborn's Kai Boris Lapczinski made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niko Echterhoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Manfred Fuchtel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lauritz Bucher fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Görschnitz FC's protests and gave Lauritz Bucher a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Görschnitz FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Felix Schmal hit a great ball. If Heiner Boddenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niko Echterhoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurence Nelius went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
