KF Tirana 2.0's Volker Quoos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovane Koser in the 20th minute of play. Volker Quoos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Minschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Richart Rübin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frithjof Hasselbach in the 27th minute. Frithjof Hasselbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gereon Junker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richart Rübin having to make a save. Richart Rübin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frithjof Hasselbach in the 34th minute. The KF Tirana 2.0 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volker Quoos should have stopped the shot. KF Tirana 2.0's Volker Quoos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Minschke in the 43rd minute of play. Niclas Mauer hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frithjof Hasselbach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, KF Tirana 2.0 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Nagel to maneuver through the defense. KF Tirana 2.0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horst Starke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Volker Quoos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Minschke in the 67th minute of the match. KF Tirana 2.0's Volker Quoos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save KF Tirana 2.0 from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Nettesheim's zone, Frithjof Hasselbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richart Rübin came out of the goal and Frithjof Hasselbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee gave KF Tirana 2.0 a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Peter Nagel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nettesheim's Richart Rübin. 2-4. When Peter Nagel fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KF Tirana 2.0's protests and gave Peter Nagel a yellow card for diving instead. Peter Nagel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nettesheim's Horst Starke got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Steffen Minschke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Volker Quoos. The goal made the score 2-5. If Niclas Mauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Steffen Minschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Quoos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovane Koser's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Volker Quoos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nettesheim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
