Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bert Gerhold kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Gerhold in the 6th minute of play forced Iserlohn Kangaroos's goalkeeper Sören Räthe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Alexander Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iserlohn Kangaroos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buprich the free kick. Alexander Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Bert Gerhold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Räthe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Gerhold in the 12th minute of play forced Iserlohn Kangaroos's goalkeeper Sören Räthe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Räthe came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Buprich's Anthony Jenkner. But to his dismay, Anthony Jenkner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sören Räthe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Krinke in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Buprich getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Micha-Alexander Ronge hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Iserlohn Kangaroos got a freekick which was hit by Folker Augenthaler. A collision led to Iserlohn Kangaroos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Akim Lingemann hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Mauritz de Raaf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Räthe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iserlohn Kangaroos's Sören Räthe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Krinke in the 39th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georg Nicklis to make the kick off. Georg Nicklis might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gisbert Sondermann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georg Nicklis ran back to his position shaking his head. The corner led Buprich's Mauritz de Raaf to fire away a dangerous shot which Sören Räthe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Iserlohn Kangaroos's Georg Nicklis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gisbert Sondermann was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Willy Kamieth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Iserlohn Kangaroos's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Gerhold came free, but Sören Räthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Walser charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Walser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eitel Curlisca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iserlohn Kangaroos! The referee gave Buprich a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauritz de Raaf, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Iserlohn Kangaroos's Sören Räthe. 1-2. In the 90th minute of the match Mauritz de Raaf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sören Räthe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Gerhold in the 92nd minute of play forced Iserlohn Kangaroos's goalkeeper Sören Räthe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Iserlohn Kangaroos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Berger to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Bert Gerhold recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sören Räthe. Bert Gerhold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Krinke got free with Sören Räthe in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Buprich left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iserlohn Kangaroos.
