Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cliff Beneyto Arago took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tommaso Landgraf might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niko Jarkovsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommaso Landgraf ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommaso Landgraf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cem United's Dennis Weninger got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Fortunatus Vengels sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cem United's Tom Deckers didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Horanspor's Niko Jarkovsky got control of the ball when Tommaso Landgraf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommaso Landgraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Niko Jarkovsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Cem United got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Weninger. A collision led to Cem United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marcus Haraszti hit a great ball. Horanspor's Fortunatus Vengels couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cem United. After 29 played minutes Cem United got a freekick which was hit by Raffael Dahlbeck. Fortunatus Vengels took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tom Deckers. Cem United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Loris Kump hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Tom Deckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Ebbing in the 32nd minute of play. Cliff Beneyto Arago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niko Jarkovsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Cem United's Tommaso Landgraf got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Ebbing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tom Deckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Ebbing in the 54th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Cem United got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Weninger. Cliff Beneyto Arago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Cliff Beneyto Arago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Jarkovsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cem United's Rüdiger Heidingsfelder got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Lutger Haug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horanspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lutger Haug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Horanspor defense, Cliff Beneyto Arago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niko Jarkovsky. The Horanspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niko Jarkovsky should have stopped the shot. Cem United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Horanspor for a fine match.
