Ellis Aigle struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gernot Bullinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Könau. A collision led to FC Marburg 19 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bülent Erler hit a great ball. Theobald Lichtenberg was a little too slow when Hristo Widenmeyer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ellis Aigle in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernot Bullinger saved FC Marburg 19 from getting behind. Ellis Aigle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Schmeisser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernot Bullinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellis Aigle in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Ellis Aigle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Könau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ellis Aigle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Gernot Bullinger made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alexander Schmeisser sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Könau's Ellis Aigle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernot Bullinger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Alexander Schmeisser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gernot Bullinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, FC Marburg 19's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Aigle came free, but Gernot Bullinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Schmeisser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gernot Bullinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernot Bullinger was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Ellis Aigle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ellis Aigle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Könau's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
