Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harald Vogel started the match with the kick off. Jens Bregenzer hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Emmrichsrode FSV's Ferdinand Held got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ingo Westphal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Dominik Scholl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Lantzen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Harald Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Dominik Scholl notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Emmrichsrode FSV's Florian Lantzen. Florian Lantzen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Finndörfer Hof's Perikles Heinzel got a free kick in the 20th minute. Finndörfer Hof's Harald Vogel got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josip Nikolic kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Florian Lantzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Vogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Finndörfer Hof's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Ingo Westphal scored to the left of an out of position Slaven Behnisch, making the score, 1-2. Ferdinand Held charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Held the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingo Westphal to strike the kick off in the second half. If Harald Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Heribert Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slaven Behnisch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald Vogel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florian Lantzen. That made the score 1-3 in the 59 minute of play. Harald Vogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Lantzen having to interfere. If Ingo Westphal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Emmrichsrode FSV's Ferdinand Held got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Finndörfer Hof booed when Emmrichsrode FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Westphal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ingo Westphal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Emmrichsrode FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingo Westphal couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Dominik Scholl notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Emmrichsrode FSV's Florian Lantzen. Florian Lantzen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Dominik Scholl fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Florian Lantzen made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Dominik Scholl sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Scholl got free with Florian Lantzen in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Emmrichsrode FSV's Kemal Vreven got a free kick in the 88th minute. Florian Lantzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Vogel in the 91st minute of the match. Slaven Behnisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heribert Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingo Westphal took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slaven Behnisch. Slaven Behnisch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The Finndörfer Hof supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Finndörfer Hof would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
