KS Górnik Bykowina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Thale 22 the free kick. In the 9th minute, Rocky Minschke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FSV Thale 22 booed when KS Górnik Bykowina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocky Minschke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Bykowina's Hellmuth Vitz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mauricio Quinten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes-Markus Bix having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jürgen Wiemer during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, FSV Thale 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürgen Wiemer to maneuver through the defense. KS Górnik Bykowina's Gülsün Rammert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pitt Busshoff in the 24th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Mauricio Quinten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Ubbo Dohrmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubbo Dohrmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gülsün Rammert having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Johan Poß dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gülsün Rammert, 1-1. Ubbo Dohrmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gülsün Rammert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Poß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Torsten Langhals managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Górnik Bykowina's supporters rose to their feet, but Torsten Langhals was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes-Markus Bix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Pitt Busshoff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gülsün Rammert. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Poß to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubbo Dohrmann in the 53rd minute of play forced KS Górnik Bykowina's goalkeeper Gülsün Rammert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Mauricio Quinten made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. FSV Thale 22's Johannes-Markus Bix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ubbo Dohrmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Thale 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubbo Dohrmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gülsün Rammert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Ubbo Dohrmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gülsün Rammert having to interfere. Ibrahim Rosenhagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Johannes-Markus Bix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gülsün Rammert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Poß, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Oleg Picker charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oleg Picker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oleg Picker kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Gülsün Rammert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubbo Dohrmann in the 92nd minute of the match. Gülsün Rammert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Poß, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. KS Górnik Bykowina's Gülsün Rammert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubbo Dohrmann in the 95th minute of play. KS Górnik Bykowina were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FSV Thale 22 to leave the ground with a draw.
