The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Jeremy Schwartau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ittersbach FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jaap von Gyldenfeldt 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The supporters of Ittersbach FC booed when Ponlehen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Moos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulf Holstein kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ittersbach FC's Arne Doderer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ittersbach FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th match minute, Ponlehen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaap von Gyldenfeldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Leonid Dreyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arne Doderer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerke Hennig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Olejmeulen in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nils Olejmeulen made the kick off in the second half. If Jaap von Gyldenfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Staudenhöchte hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Ittersbach FC's Nils Olejmeulen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 65 minutes of play, Ponlehen FSV's Jaap von Gyldenfeldt made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Doderer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Doderer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaap von Gyldenfeldt went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Arnulf Holstein kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Ponlehen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonid Dreyer to maneuver through the defense. Arnim Kircher hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ittersbach FC booed when Ponlehen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Hennrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponlehen FSV's Jaap von Gyldenfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ponlehen FSV had won after a very even match.
