In the 17th minute, Claes Biege ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hardy Hensel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Bohmterheide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Riedel to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Bjarne Zöller sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bohmterheide FC's Hardy Hensel didn't even have to move. Hanns Gronau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ferit Schied tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Toll in the 28th minute of play forced Tus Untereschbach's goalkeeper Ferit Schied to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hanns Gronau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ferit Schied made a huge save. Harald Toll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Schied having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hanns Gronau got free with Ferit Schied in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Claes Biege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Radermacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hardy Hensel having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Simon Radermacher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hardy Hensel. Bohmterheide FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Radermacher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Toll stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Simon Radermacher came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tus Untereschbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Radermacher couldn't finish the play. Luis Kraus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Simon Radermacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardy Hensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Heintz's late challenge caught a Bohmterheide FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Biege's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Hardy Hensel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tus Untereschbach's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
