Allan Scherrer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Torsten Femmer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Allan Scherrer fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stivologne FC's protests and gave Allan Scherrer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stivologne FC's Allan Scherrer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Niko Schuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orson Ufer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Schuster in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stivologne FC's zone, Joachim von Cube stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orson Ufer came out of the goal and Joachim von Cube tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Kratz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Niko Schuster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orson Ufer was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Paul Kratz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orson Ufer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niko Schuster's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The throw-in from Fabian Feyen in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stivologne FC's Robert Heimeier. Orson Ufer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wolfhard Svoboda in the 82nd minute. Wolfhard Svobodas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Orson Ufer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 96 played minutes Hausten FSV got a freekick which was hit by Wolfhard Svoboda. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hausten FSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
