Spectators: 7264 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stefan Behrendt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Balthasar Nelsen kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Monty Keilbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nepomuk Naber was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. A collision led to FC Bayern.München getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ernst Vogel hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Keilbach in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nepomuk Naber saved FC Bayern.München from getting behind. Raffael Pitten hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Dragan Kerth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Behrendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of FC Bayern.München booed when Eifel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raffael Pitten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Stefan Behrendt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dragan Kerth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Eifel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Behrendt came free, but Dragan Kerth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, FC Bayern.München's goalkeeper Nepomuk Naber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Schmidt. In the 24th minute, Ernst Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Eifel FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sönke Seppmann hit a great ball. Dragan Kerth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Behrendt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragan Kerth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Behrendt in the 29th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Stefan Behrendt sped through Eifel FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dragan Kerth. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bayern.München's zone, Matthias Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nepomuk Naber came out of the goal and Matthias Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nepomuk Naber was a little too slow when Monty Keilbach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. Matthias Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Nepomuk Naber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eifel FC. Matthias Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Monty Keilbach was the one to do the kick off. Matthias Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nepomuk Naber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. When Matthias Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Eifel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Nepomuk Naber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Monty Keilbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Matthias Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eifel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to FC Bayern.München getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hansjörg Göppl hit a great ball. Jaime Boxberger, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Matthias Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nepomuk Naber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eifel FC. Matthias Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nepomuk Naber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nepomuk Naber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Keilbach in the 82nd minute of play. Amos Möllmann made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Eifel FC's Raffael Pitten. In the 92nd minute, Stefan Behrendt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Götz Wieland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Dragan Kerth made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Eifel FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
