Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC.EV.Bären's Uwe Kues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Levi Dittrich made a great header on FC.EV.Bären's corner, it was just that Fortuna Selbach's Dolf Lang managed to reach the ball for a save. Henriko Resch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dolf Lang having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henriko Resch got free with Dolf Lang in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC.EV.Bären's Henriko Resch got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Uwe Kues fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pascal Schock kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Fabian Skrotzki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hasso Glieder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dolf Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Kues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasso Glieder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Erhard, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Pascal Schock's late challenge caught a Fortuna Selbach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Schock helped the player get up and apologised. Uwe Kues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henriko Resch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dolf Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hennes Hens made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Hennes Hens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasso Glieder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uwe Kues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henriko Resch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henriko Resch in the 77th minute of play forced Fortuna Selbach's goalkeeper Dolf Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dolf Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henriko Resch in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Fortuna Selbach getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Joost Bieberkopf hit a great ball. Fortuna Selbach's Dolf Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henriko Resch in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Uwe Kues made a precise shot to the right of Dolf Lang. Fortuna Selbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Henriko Resch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dolf Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC.EV.Bären fully deserved thier win.
