Maximilian Höger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Balthasar Thiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Volkmar Bodewig made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ssv bergneustadt 08's goal looked a bit too open when Volkmar Bodewig came free, but Albin Bollen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes, Boris Grentz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ssv bergneustadt 08 and the Dammducht FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Volkmar Bodewig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balthasar Thiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Höger in the 63rd minute of the match. Albin Bollen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkmar Bodewig in the 66th minute of play. Gottlieb Güven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Egmont Bose's late challenge caught a Dammducht FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egmont Bose helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Egmont Bose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilian Höger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Balthasar Thiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ssv bergneustadt 08's zone, Olaf Burgmeier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albin Bollen came out of the goal and Olaf Burgmeier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ssv bergneustadt 08 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
