Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tobias Krughöfer made the kick off which started today's match. Stefano Henrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Stefano Henrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polonia Neu-Ulm's Stephan Dabrock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Polonia Neu-Ulm from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Stefano Henrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alois Thielemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Krughöfer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stephan Dabrock came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobias Krughöfer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Ralph Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Stefano Henrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Germann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Rocks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralph Schultz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Polonia Neu-Ulm got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Germann. If Ryan Germann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryan Germann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ralph Schultz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ryan Germann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alois Thielemann came out and tried to block the shot, but Ryan Germann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. Stephan Dabrock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcello Merz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loquard's Tobias Krughöfer suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fabian Schumacher charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Schumacher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loquard's Immanuel Böhm was substituted for Tobias Krughöfer. The supporters of Loquard booed when Polonia Neu-Ulm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Schumacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingolf Roppel charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingolf Roppel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Loquard booed when Polonia Neu-Ulm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingolf Roppel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Germann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alois Thielemann came out and tried to block the shot, but Ryan Germann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 70th minute. Ryan Germann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralph Schultz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ryan Germann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alois Thielemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polonia Neu-Ulm played a much better game than Loquard and deserved their victory. The Loquard players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
